Hi, I’m Whitney Frautschi.
I’m from Austin, TX! I have two little boys and have worked in marketing for tech companies since graduating from the University of Texas. In 2018, when I was pregnant with my first child I created a water tasting event for a small group of friends to celebrate my husbands birthday. We learned a lot about water, gained an appreciation for the resource that keeps us alive and had a ton of fun. I put together a few more events over the years for my church groups and corporate teams but have decided after 15 years in marketing I was ready to jump in full time to water. I’m now a certified water sommelier providing fun, inclusive events and water sommelier services to greater Austin.
My Approach
You may not love water (yet) and you may think water is just a commodity but you know how important water is to life. I’d love to help build an appreciation and greater understanding of our earth’s resource.

There is a lot more to water than meets the eye. I’d love to teach people about minerality (TDS), what minerals do in our bodies, waters sense of place, and the cultural and history of these waters that people have been drinking for thousands of years
